This Is Not The Life I Ordered

Is your life going the way you want? Or
are there times when you think that everything is going wrong, and how
can that be, because that's not the way YOU are?
Are the bad experiences taking over and you wonder if it's always going
to be that way. . . Or do you think you can change it? You can, you
know. You can make each day a good experience, even after the fact.
How?, you ask? Read on.
At the end of every day, reflect on your day. Many people choose that
time to worry. YOU should choose that time to *reflect.* Just sit down
and relax and take a few minutes to think about the various things that
happened in the last 24 hours.
Take a couple of deep breaths, talk to the muscles in your body, asking
them each to relax. Visualize a calm scene where you can go in your mind
to relax even more.
When you are totally relaxed, ask yourself these questions: Who did I
see or talk to today? What did they say? What happened as a result? How
did I feel?
Now, look closely at the answers.
Did the answers indicate a good day or a bad day?
If it was good, that's great! Think about it some more.
If it's bad, you can change that. Isn't that fantastic to know?
Let's say it's evening, and you've asked yourself the above four
questions -- and you've answered yourself. Now, you're going to turn the
little episode you just ran in your mind into a little movie. Now, if it
was a good movie, rerun it and enjoy it.
If it was a bad movie, what can you do? You can change it.
Here's how:
Pretend you are the director of this movie, and you are changing things
a little -- or a lot, especially if it's a really bad movie. Visualize
the whole scene as you wish it would have played, and when you are done,
everyone in the scene is happy.
Doesn't that make you feel good about yourself? Won't you be able to
sleep better?
If you find something else to worry about, just make it into a play
where it all comes out the way you want, too.
How does this help *reality*? Well, *reality* is what we make it. If we
dwell on the old scenario, we dwell on past mistakes. Therefore, they
aren't really *past* mistakes, as we keep bringing them up into the
present.
I say change them, so our memories are good.
Because we attract what we think about. Do we want to think about
mistakes, therefore keep making the same mistakes? NO. The more you
think about doing something right, the more you are destined to do the
right thing.
So, let's review. We had a bad day. We visualized it one of two ways.
The way it was, And was. And was. (Because we don't just think about it
once, we review it over and over and over, don't we?)
Or we visualize it the way we want it to be. That gives us an
opportunity to think good thoughts about whatever it was, therefore, we
won't be repeating the old thoughts, the old experiences. By now, you do
know, don't you, that you can CHANGE?
So, here's the gist. You change your bad experiences to good, so that
you only experience the bad experiences once -- and the good from now
on. OK?
Now, after you do that a few times, guess what? You WILL have the life
you ordered. And isn't that great? Because we *order* our lives every
time we think about something. What are you thinking about?
Good luck!
